Hi, I am Julie Allan. I am a writer and a teacher. I grew up in a military family, moving all over living over seas and in many different states. I arrived in Charleston South Carolina at the age of 17 to start school at the College of Charleston and I have never left. Well I have traveled, but at 17 I began a love affair with Charleston and the lowcountry and could not imagine making anywhere else my home base. I have been teaching in the public school system for 24 years and love it! Throughout my life I have gravitated to writing, even attempting a Gone With The Wind style grand novel at the tender age of 11, my character list was two pages long! I once entertained the ladies in my water aerobics class I taught here in Charleston with a murder mystery set in our own medical university. With encouragement from friends and family, I have decided to launch my second career while I continue on with my first. I am a writer and I am ready to share the products of my craft with the world outside my friends and family. I hope you will enjoy following my journey and if my books make you laugh or cry, connect with the characters and leave you wanting more then I know I am on the right track.
A great new beginning and looking forward to more interesting books
